Allana Ferguson bio
Allana played for Australia in the Rugby Sevens 2013 and then suffered consecutive injuries to her knees that caused Allana to retire from the field. Allana returned to playing rugby league after several years. Allana participated in her first female match in the 2015 season of rugby league and played in the game for New South Wales in a match against Queensland. Allana has added radio to her game, performing regularly with the highest-rated Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana also holds a teaching degree. Allana Ferguson has the unique distinction of having represented Australia in three sports that include rugby sevens (rugby league) along with touch, and also the rugby union. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos' rugby superstar and a fourth-time tear in the ACL was forced to end her career in football. Ferguson tore the ACL four times before she was 15, 17 and 20. After the fourth time she suffered the injury, her playing career was ended. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and fourth-year ACL injured, had to retire in the early hours. Ferguson told The Courier Mail that she was injured during training in November. She was a face of women's Rugby League throughout the years.
