DMX began to rap in the middle of the 1990s. In May 1998 He released his first album, It's DARK and HELL IS HOT. Other albums include... And then there was x, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... Again Redemption of the Beast Gran Champ Flesh of Blood Flesh. The album titled...And then was X was nominated for the Grammy in 2001 for Best Rap Album in 2001. The success of his music was further enhanced by his appearances in such movies as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five - Exit Wounded Never Die Alone The Bleeding Romeo Must Die Backstage - Beyond the Law Lockjaw - Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
